I felt like composing something completely different from anything I've done before. For a while I've been obsessed with finding a drum sound similar to what you hear in shows like Battlestar Galactica. I think I found the solution. It's called Drums of War 2 by Cinesamples. That's what you're hearing in this track with a couple other miscellaneous percussion sounds from Kontakt's stock library.
